Late-Blooming Cartoonist Booms with Amusing Toons

Russ Dugger is a Minneapolis-based maker of zines, illustrations, and comics. His works vary in subject and style, but often veer towards cute and colorful with organic line art inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics.

Originally, he studied theater-performance in college but rediscovered his love for illustration and comics in his early 30s. Now he puts all of his creative attention into making his first-ever comic series "Ninja Penguin."
